Film Screening: Women Bending the Curve on Climate Change

  • What: A public screening of the documentary Women Bending the Curve on Climate Change in Vancouver. Set in the context of the Paris climate change agreements, the new film tells the stories of climate change leaders from Canada’s West Coast working in renewable energy, city government, energy conservation, community engagement, sustainable food, finance and indigenous land stewardship. After the screening there will be a discussion with the filmmaker Dr. Joanna Ashworth and special guests.

The Future of BC Speaker Series will take place on September 19 at the McCarthy Tetrault private rooftop Patio. The event will give guests the opportunity to learn first-hand about St. Paul’s Hospital’s world-leading addiction and medicine program. Renowned addiction medicine physicians and researchers, Dr. Even Wood and Dr. Seonaid Nolan, will be in attendance and share their knowledge about the impact of addiction on the global community.

Textile Walking Tour
