Run Wild Speaker Series: Snow Safety with FX Gagnon

What: Run Wild Vancouver is launching a new speaker series that will get you ready for a winter full of fun and safe running adventures. The first is an evening with FX Gagnon, a guide, avalanche training expert, and outdoor education teacher with over 20 years of guiding and teaching experience. FX will introduce attendees to the basics of snow safety, avalanche awareness, and risk assessment in the backcountry. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions and chat with other trail runners.

This Beer’s for You (Cask Party)

What: Russell Brewing and WildTale are teaming up to throw an awesome cask party happening in Olympic Village next month. Brought to you by U-Feast, a company that operates curated, one-of-a-kind, and interactive dining experiences with local restaurant partners, this five-course meal will feature Fanny Bay Oysters on the Half Shell, Grilled Blue Marlin, Bangers and Mash, Miso Marinated Sablefish, and an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie with Oatmeal Stout Ice Cream to finish.
