Vancouver Christmas Market to offer discounts on 'Foodie Tuesdays'

We’ve all been there – you get to an event with a plethora of awesome food and beverages to enjoy, and you get full after two or three things.

Your dedicated foodie heart says to keep eating and drinking and tasting all the things, but your logical brain says to stop because dropping $100 on mulled wine and raclette isn’t “reasonable.”

The Vancouver Christmas Market has done us all a sold and solved this problem with a new feature for its 2018 season.

Aptly named Foodie Tuesdays at Vancouver Christmas Market, the new event allows patrons to devour all the market’s delicacies by offering guests smaller portions for a lower price during Children’s Wish Weeks’ Foodie Tuesdays (November 27 and December 4).

Participating vendors throughout the market will be offering exclusive discounts and trial-size tastes so you can curate your very own personal holiday food adventure.

The Vancouver Christmas Market kicks off November 21 and runs until December 24 at Jack Poole Plaza, but Foodie Tuesdays deals will only be available November 27 and December 4.

After guests chow down they can also wander through more than 55,000-sq-ft of German jubilation with quaint huts featuring over 80 vendors, ride the stunning Christmas carousel, and marvel at the Christmas Pyramid’s ‘Flying Stage’ perched above the market.

This year, attendees will be able to enjoy extended hours from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm, so be sure to mark your calendar for the two special foodie dates, and get in the holiday spirit by eating your weight in schnitzel.
