5X Art Party

What: 5X Fest is a South Asian Millennial Festival. 5X Art Party will feature young South Asian artists impacting art and fashion fans around the world. Celebrate local talent from Lower Mainland including visual artists and fashion designers. Artists include Anumation, Jessie Sohpaul, Made By Rambo, Erin Sandhu, Sunroop Kaur, Kiran Bhumber and more. 5X Art and Fashion Party is curated by and hosted in partnership with dontdoze. Heritage Vancouver Society Tour and Talk: War Memorial Gym and Heritage at UBC

What: Join Heritage Vancouver for a walk through UBC to discuss the future of War Memorial Gym, one of Heritage Vancouver’s Top10 Endangered Sites, and other aspects of UBC’s heritage. The tour will also focus on the general context for heritage conservation at UBC, and will point out UBC’s early agricultural history and the mix of old and new sites along Main Mall, such as the Irving K. Barber Library and chemistry building. After the tour, participants will have a chance to ask questions and have a discussion with the tour leaders.
