Mark Manson Everything is F*cked Tour
What: Mark Manson, the number one New York Times bestselling author of The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, is coming to Vancouver. His mega-bestseller has been translated into over 50 languages and sold more than seven million copies worldwide. Manson will be promoting his new book Everything is F*cked: A Book About Hope (published on May 14), at the Rio Theatre.

Great Bear Rainforest Free Screening
What: Science World is hosting a free screening of Ryan Reynold’s IMAX documentary Great Bear Rainforest. The free event at Science World on June 4 will also feature a panel discussion about the state of BC’s wildlife.

Global Civic Policy Society Public Salon
What: Each of the eight Public Salon speakers, thinkers and doers from across the city, share their ideas, thoughts and passion in seven short minutes. Speakers include Dr. Shuhk Brar on the life of an anesthesiologist, Holly Peck on human-robot interaction, and Lana Suthere the co-founder of Tealeaves, on tea and collaboration. Hosted by former Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan.

Herbs for Digestion
What: This informative talk by Medical Herbalist Katolen Yardley will cover how certain herbal medicines can assist digestive health through various actions. Explore the benefits of some common spices and carminative rich herbs, and understand the effects of bitter and demulcent herbs. Participants will sample a digestive tea and demulcent mixture and will take home a small bag of a carminative digestive spice blend. Presented by the Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association.

Cloudscape Comics Witching Hours Book Launch
What: Join Cloudscape Comics at The Roundhouse as they premier their latest comic anthology: The Witching Hours as a part of Women Deliver 2019 Conference. The Witching Hours is a 124 page, duo-tone, anthology of comics about magical women written, illustrated and edited by women and non-binary artists currently residing in the Lower Mainland. Artist bios and art pages from the book will be on display in the Exhibition Hall, and artists and editors will be on hand for questions and signings.
