Friends of VPL: Fall Used Book Sale

What: Support Vancouver Public Library’s special library programs and projects by picking up a new-to-you read at the Friends of VPL: Fall Used Book Sale. Shop gently used children and adult books, CDs and DVDs, and more. Everything is 50% off on Saturday. Shoppers are asked to bring their own bags.

Après le Déluge: The Buddy Cole Monologues

What: Scott Thompson (The Kids In The Hall) has been creating and performing monologues as Buddy Cole on stage and screen for over 30 years. Buddy has been a special correspondent for The Colbert Report at the Sochi Olympics in 2014 and his work is currently on Vulture Magazine’s recent list of I00 jokes that shaped modern comedy.

Science World After Dark

What: Science World After Dark features all of your favourite activities just for adults. Then grab your favourite childhood dinner in Triple O’s and experience exciting live science shows at Centre Stage.
