What: Harvest Haus is partnering with the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) to launch the largest harvest celebration in Canada: Harvestland. Visitors can expect rides, attractions, food, and entertainers, as well as the return of the original Harvest Haus – the 19+, high-energy Oktoberfest party.

Harvestland will boast dozens of attractions, including tractor rides, logger sports showcases, pumpkin carving, and theatrical entertainers. Guests can also explore the colourful Bavarian Village, a Woodland Labyrinth, and the interactive Kinder Farm.

When: October 10 until October 20, 2019. Closed October 15.
Time: 4 to 10 pm (Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays), 12 to 10 pm (Fridays to Sundays)

posAbilities’ 15th Annual INCLUSION Art Show & Sale

What: Held during Community Inclusion month in BC, the art show features creations from over 150 artists with diverse abilities who are working independently or in studios supported by Community Living organizations across Metro Vancouver. Meet artists during the show, discover each person’s unique perspective, creative process, and how individual challenges are transcended through art.

Museum After Dark

What: Experience a unique adult-only evening at the Museum of Surrey themed around the newest feature exhibit, Being: Punjabi. Guests will go on a guided tour of the exhibit with the museum curator, and then check out the artifact collection in the museum vault. There will also be an artist talk with Punjabi artist Mandeep Wirk, Punjabi appetizers, Bhangra performances, and free henna applications. Ticket includes one complimentary glass of wine. Ages 19+ are welcome.

Cheech and Chong

What: The two comedy legends, Richard “Cheech” Marin and Edmonton-born Tommy Chong, have been performing stand-up comedy for decades and are best known for their run of seven films through the 70s and 80s, including Up in Smoke and Still Smokin. They’ve also released numerous albums, including the Grammy-winning “Los Cochinos.” The duo is hitting the road and stopping in 14 cities across the great white north this fall on their O Cannabis Tour.

Blood Bath & Beyond

What: A horror variety show at the Wise Hall featuring magic, burlesque and sideshow performances. Acts include Melody Mangler, Calamity Kate, Aleister Crane, Vivianne Oblivion, and more. Presented by Major Productions and Impossible Things Productions.

The HERO SHOW 12 Year Anniversary
