National Indigenous Peoples Day
- What: A celebration of the unique cultural diversities of Indigenous Communities, through the engagement and inclusion of Local Land Based Nations and local service providers. A free community barbeque will take place from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm along with several traditional cultural activities and performances combined with outreach and engagement from a variety of service providers working with the Urban Indigenous population in Surrey.

UBC Botanical Garden Amphitheatre Summer Series – Dianna David
- What: Dianna David is a unique storyteller, with their TedxTalk “Have the Balls to Follow Your Dreams” presentation inspiring people to follow their “Red Ball”. As their passions start rising, Dianna David’s Red Ball Movement is getting rolling for a worldwide tour for 2018-19.
