The Arts Club’s Blind Date

What: Arts Club, the largest theatre company in Western Canada, is putting a much-needed dose of laughter and fun into dating. From now to Monday, December 30, 2018, Rebecca Northan’s improv comedy Blind Date will be playing at the Goldcorp Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre. Viewers will get a chance to experience the exhilaration (and hilarity!) of new love as Mimi, the lead character of the show, goes on a blind date with a different man every night. There’s a catch though – her date is picked right out of the audience.

Community Skate at PNE Agrodome

What: Bring your family and your skates for a fun day of skating at PNE Agrodome. Bring your own skates & helmets (no rentals available). Helmets are recommended for all skaters. Children 12 & under are required to have a helmet and be accompanied by an adult. No hockey sticks, pucks, or ringette sticks allowed. Skate aids available.

What: A heartwarming holiday musical for the whole family. It’s a Wonderful Life, set to soaring songs from the 20s, 30s, and 40s is a timeless holiday classic. With a little help from his guardian angel, George Bailey, is brought back from despair on Christmas Eve to see how he has truly touched all the people in his life.

Hockey Canada World Juniors After Party with The Glorious Sons

What: Hockey Canada and SiriusXM present World Juniors After Party with Kingston, Ontario rockers The Glorious Suns.

December Clothing Fix it at Mount Pleasant Library Vancouver

What: The monthly Free Clothing Fix-It event, hosted by Frameworq, aims to divert textiles from ending up in the landfill and bring repair skills back to use with patches, darning and stitches. Bring your clothing item or any other textile that needs to be repaired and they will show you how to repair it. Frameworq will also be providing supplies and sharing skills to fix your favourite garments. No experience necessary and all are welcome.
