Museum of Surrey Grand Opening

Oktoberfest Vancouver 2018

  • What: Celebrate the famed festival in style at the iconic Hastings Racecourse with traditional fare, exciting horse races, live music, and of course, plenty of beer. The authentic atmosphere experience features four exclusive areas only accessible to ticketholders: German Haus, Parallel 49 Haus, Austrian Haus, and the Wine Haus.   • What: Organized by a collaborative team of Etsy Team Captains and volunteers, Vancouver’s Etsy Team transforms UBC Robson Square into a marketplace bursting with handcrafted goods and vintage treasures. Everything available at the Etsy Made in Canada pop-up is made by local sellers with captivating stories, including unique handmade and vintage goods like jewellery, accessories, home décor and treasures for kids. Just in time for the Fall, the pop-up will also have top picks for Thanksgiving table décor, Halloween décor and costumes, DIY crafts, early Holiday finds and more.

BC Hop Fest 2018

  • What: Now in its fourth year, this annual celebration beer and all things hops-related includes a lineup of stellar BC craft brewers celebrating the hop harvest, BC’s hop-growing industry, and of course, fresh hopped brews. Attendees can expect beer tastings, food trucks, hop farm tours, and live music. This is Canada’s only farm-based Fresh Beer Festival.
