Art of Lights: The 2018 Surrey International Lantern Festival

  • What: An international lantern festival is coming to Metro Vancouver and it’s looking to dazzle, impress, and mesmerize anyone who pays a visit. Taking place at the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre Park and dubbed “the Art of Lights,” the 2018 Surrey International Lantern Festival is a large-scale cultural celebration. The event is hosted by the Canadian Sichuan Chamber of Commerce and organized by the Chuan Sheng Media Group, who are calling the event the biggest light event in Surrey.

Reapers Haunted Attraction and the Maze of Terror

  • What: Entering its 26th year, the theatrical horror experience and maze of terror are quite possibly the scariest attractions in Chilliwack. The annual event is run by Lisa and Gary Moran, two Chilliwack residents who affectionately refer to their visitors as victims. Victims of the event will be invited into an asylum-themed haunt, bringing the horrors of crazed patients, twisted doctors and hospital staff to life.
