BC Place Tours – All Access Experience

  • What: The BC Sports Hall of Fame presents an All Access Experience with an enhanced visit to the Hall of Fame including an exclusive behind the scenes tour of BC Place. The tour includes the media lounge, the Premium Suite areas, the team locker rooms (when available) and access onto the field providing visitors with an amazing viewpoint of BC Place (when available).

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition 2018

  • What: The Titanic: Artifact Exhibition has been designed to focus on the real, authentic human stories of those who boarded the Titanic and bringing those tales back to life. To help recreate the memories of the passengers, more than 120 authentic pieces from the vessel will be present, as well as extensive re-creations of rooms on the ship.

1600+ Pandas World Tour Vancouver 2018

  • What: A total of 888 hand-crafted papier-mâché giant pandas will be displayed at Metropolis at Metrotown shopping mall this summer as part of a campaign to raise awareness of wildlife conservation, pandas, and sustainability. Donated proceeds from the free exhibition will go towards World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada to help fund its wildlife conservation research and education programs.

Women in the Arts: An Open Discussion

  • What: An opportunity for women working in Vancouver’s artistic community to network in a casual environment and have conversations about their shared and diverse experiences in the industry. Cis women, trans women, and anyone who has identified with the descriptor at some point in their lives are welcome, as are gender non-binary folks. 
  • When: Monday, July 23, 2018
  • Time: 5 to 7 pm

Lunch & Lyrics

  • What: Surrey Civic Plaza’s new Lunch & Lyrics acoustic concert series features a new acoustic musical act every Monday in the summer. Each week will also feature a different food truck.
  • When: Every Monday until August 27, 2018 (No show August 6)
  • Time: 12 to 2 pm

Dinner in the Sky North Vancouver 2018

  • What: Dinner in the Sky North Vancouver will present brunch, lunch, and dinner offerings from 415 West Esplanade. The North Vancouver waterfront location will provide a stunning panorama view of the ocean, mountain, and city, and is the first of several other locations to soon be announced. Curating the dinners is BC-born chef Ned Bell, known for his several appearances on celebrity cooking shows and his role as a sustainable seafood ambassador.

Hooded Fang

  • What: Formed in 2007, Canadian indie rockers Hooded Fang features vocalist/guitarist Dan Lee, vocalist/bassist April Aliermo, guitarist Lane Halley and drummer D. Alex Meeks. The band is a Polaris Prize nominee.
