Race & Food Digest: Restaurant Kids

What: Join Toronto author and Globe and Mail journalist Ann Hui for a special evening celebrating the launch of her new book, Chop Suey Nation: The Legion Cafe and Other Stories from Canada’s Chinese Restaurants, which tells the stories of small-town Chinese restaurant owners across Canada, including the one run by Ann’s own family. The night features dinner courtesy of Jade Dynasty Restaurant, plus a keynote conversation with Ann and special guests, “restaurant kids” who grew up alongside their family’s restaurants.
