Monster Jam Vancouver

What: Monster Jam returns to Vancouver this spring, and the travelling motorsports experience will have some new gigantic beasts along for the ride.

The family-friendly event is returning to the Pacific Coliseum for three massive events from March 21 to 23. It will be the only Vancouver stop in 2025.

The world champion athletes and their 12,000-pound monster trucks will be tearing up the dirt during the Vancouver Monster Jam Arena Championship Series West shows. Local fans will also experience two new trucks for the very first time.

Murmuration by Le Patin Libre

What: Le Patin Libre’s Murmuration is inspired by the aerial choreography of birds and transposes the swoops, swirls and configurations of mass flight to the ice.

Le Patin Libre sought out the world’s top skaters through a series of international auditions to fully embody this phenomenon. Guests can look forward to an aeriform ballet infused and emboldened with meticulous choreography.

Nowruz New Year Celebration at Capilano Mall

What: Capilano Mall is hosting a thrilling Nowruz New Year celebration on March 22, and everyone is invited. Guests will enjoy cultural dance performances by the Academy of Middle Eastern Dance, traditional drumming by Dafan Band, and a Haft-Seen table display by Solievent.

Spring Break at Burnaby Village Museum

What: Burnaby Village Museum is celebrating spring break, and longtime visitors and new guests will discover plenty to enjoy. Special activities throughout the two weeks include Storytime at the Indigenous Learning House, a scavenger hunt, playing heritage games, steam demos, and more.

The beloved open-air historical attraction transports people back in time and lets them experience life in a 1920s village, complete with heritage and recreated buildings and staff dressed in the period’s fashion. The carousel will also be open but only at 50 per cent capacity.

Multiple Realities: Experimental Art in the Eastern Bloc, 1960s–1980s

What: The Vancouver Art Gallery presents Multiple Realities: Experimental Art in the Eastern Bloc, 1960s–1980s, a deep dive into the experimental art made in six Central Eastern European nations on the three decades.

The interdisciplinary exhibition features works from nearly 100 artists questioning how, when, and where art could exist and uncovering its various meanings for society.

The Beach Boys

What: The Beach Boys’s Endless Summer Gold Tour announcement coincides with the news that co-founder, lead singer, and lyricist Mike Love has been nominated for induction into the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Love has written or co-written some of the most well-known songs in pop music history, including “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” and “Kokomo.”

The Beach Boys have sold over 100 million albums, and their founding members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. They also released a self-titled documentary on Disney+ in May of this year.
