The Polygon Gallery

What: The Polygon Gallery’s Deckchair Cinema returns starting on Thursday, June 25, on Lower Lonsdale’s waterfront deck.

Hosted in partnership with presenting sponsor Rogers Communications and supporting sponsor Mubi, the open-air film series will feature music and entertainment, food and drinks, and more.

Admission to the fifth annual series of outdoor movies is by donation, courtesy of BMO Financial Group, and includes entrance to access Polygon Gallery’s summer exhibition Greg Girard (opening July 9), Simranpreeet Anand: Living with the Eternal, and James Harry: Eye of the Ancestor.

Bay’Score Soccer Experiences

What: Experience the summer of soccer on a larger-than-life scale at The Westin Bay’Score Fan Experience, featuring match viewing on The Westin Bayshore’s immersive LED Infinity Wall, soccer-inspired games, and elevated stadium-style bites and drinks available for purchase on site.

Black Music Month Festival

What: The ninth annual Black Music Month Festival showcases a lineup of emerging and established artists at City Centre Artists Lodge.

This year’s theme, “Black to Da Future,” honours the past, present, and future of Afro-diasporic music and artistic innovation. From soul, rock and roll, punk and electronic, to storytelling and cultural expression, BMMV26 is where history meets the future.

What: Big Splash Water Slide Park in Tsawwassen is ready for the summer season. The seven-acre resort-style park features 13 body and tube slides, a kids’ zone, hot tubs, and more to help you beat the heat.

Big Splash’s highlight is the Boomerango, an exhilarating tube slide with a six-story drop. According to the park, it’s the only one of its kind in Western Canada.
