Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival 2025

What: The annual Vancouver Pride Parade will begin at Concord Pacific Place lands in Northeast False Creek and travel westward along Pacific Boulevard and Pacific Street, terminating at Burrard Street. As well, with a shorter route for 2025, the parade will start at 1 p.m. — one hour later than usual. Over 150 parade entries are planned.
Parade spectators can follow the tail end of the procession to the new Davie Village Pride Festival, which will span a three-block stretch of Davie Street between Burrard Street and Jervis Street.
Organizers are promising a “high-energy, inclusive celebration” at the Davie Village Pride Festival, featuring live music, drag performances, DJs, and roaming entertainers, as well as licensed lounges, extended patios, and local businesses spilling out onto the street.

Summer in The Courtyard at Willowbrook
What: Willowbrook Shopping Centre’s Summer in The Courtyard offers free weekly events in its outdoor courtyard until August.
Enjoy Monday Fundays with bubbles, games, and activities, outdoor yoga sessions on Wednesdays led by Evolution Studios, and family-friendly movie nights every Friday. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors, connect with the community, and enjoy summer fun close to home.

Twilight Tuesdays at Science World
What: While school may be out for the summer, there are still ample learning opportunities to be had, thanks to the return of Twilight Tuesdays at Science World.
Patrons can enjoy extended hours every Tuesday until 8 p.m. under the dome. Plus, you’ll receive discounted admission if you arrive after 5 p.m. That means more time to explore the exhibits while saving your wallet.
It’s also a great opportunity to check out the new feature exhibition, Artemis Space Adventure with Lego Bricks, where you can take on space challenges while building and exploring outer space.
When: Every Tuesday until Aug. 26, 2025
Time: Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Twilight Tuesdays offer discounted admission after 5 p.m.

Chilliwack Corn Maze

Greendale Acres
What: Greendale Acres’ iconic maze is celebrating its 27th year in 2025, and the new design of the massive cornfield has longtime fans buzzing with excitement.
The field, which officially opens on Friday, Aug. 1, pays tribute to what the designers call “the quiet heroes of our farm and our food system” — the bee.
When: Aug. 1 to Oct. 31, 2025

Music Mountain Series at Sea to Sky Gondola
What: The hills are alive with the sound of music at Sea to Sky Gondola. The popular attraction is hosting a variety of acclaimed musicians throughout the summer, including The Whiskeydicks on Aug. 15 and Ruckus Deluxe on Sept. 12.

Richmond Pride Week
What: Pride Week in Richmond returns this summer to celebrate members of the 2SLGBTQI+ communities in the city. Complete details will be released closer to the week, but guests can look forward to inclusive events and interactive activities with live entertainment, local artists, and more.

Public Disco’s Pride Block Party

Public Disco
What: Public Disco is hosting its fourth annual Pride Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 2, in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant. The 19+ event features international DJs like Jason Kendig and DJ Hermano alongside local performers, food trucks, pop-up bars, and more.
Two dollars from every ticket sold to Public Disco Pride Party will go to support the Vancouver Pride Society’s Pride Bursary Program, which supports new and grassroots events reflecting the diversity of the city’s 2SLGBTQAI+ communities.

Where: West 3rd Avenue and Ontario Street, Vancouver
Admission: $21 to $42 plus fees. Purchase online, $2 from every ticket will go to support Vancouver Pride Society’s Bursary Program.
Surrey’s Heritage Rail
What: Take a trip back through time by riding Surrey’s Heritage Interurban rail car.
Heritage Rail Adventure trips take place on Saturdays and feature a tour of the Cloverdale railway station, a trip on the B.C. Electric Intraurban Railcar, and more. Sullivan Excursions happen on Sundays and feature a 55-minute sightseeing ride to Sullivan Park and back.

Vancouver Rise vs Ottawa Rapid
What: Celebrate Pride with Vancouver Rise FC on Saturday, Aug 2 at 4 p.m. Tickets start at $19, with inclusion, visibility, and love on and off the pitch.
Guests can meet Venus, winner of Canada’s Drag Race, for a pre-match meet and greet and half-time performance. Out in Harmony will lift the stadium by singing the national anthem, and Swangard Stadium will be serving pride-themed eats like rainbow popcorn, grilled cheese and custom Crema ice cream. Don’t forget to pickup your exclusive Pride merch at the game.

Powell Street Festival

Powell Street Festival
What: The 49th annual Powell Street Festival is happening on Aug. 2 and 3 at Oppenheimer Park and the Paueru Gai (the Powell Street area and Vancouver’s historical Japanese neighbourhood).
There will be over 60 events and 40 performances to check out at this year’s Japanese street festival, including live music, dance performances, film screenings and more.
Expect to find traditional Japanese food, festival food, comforting community cuisine, sweets, refreshing treats, and more during your visit. There will be over 50 food and craft vendors to discover this year.

Voyage of the Gikumi
What: Looking for a unique summer adventure for you and the family? Experience local lore and scenic views on a two-hour guided boat tour down Fraser River’s historic Cannery Channel in Richmond.
Guests will discover how the river has been a creator, sculptor, and provider for the people along its banks. You’ll also hear stories of rum runners, rescued whales, abandoned boats, and more from experienced heritage interpreters. For ages eight and older.

What: The popular annual event at The Shipyards in North Vancouver will see a family-friendly dance party break out at Shipbuilder’s Square. Groove along to local DJs, enjoy drag and live entertainment and more.

Pac Rim Patio
What: Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Pac Rim Patio has returned for the summer season. What’s even more exciting is that it’ll be launching in collaboration with 33 Acres Brewing Co.
Located on the hotel’s front plaza, guests will enjoy great waterfront views alongside thirst-quenching brews, tasty bites, and a lineup of summer events.

The Really Gay History Walking Tour
What: Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours presents a guided celebration of the unsung heroes who helped change the social fabric of the city, including drag kings, two-spirit warriors, queer church ministers and transgender crime fighters. Led by guide Glenn Tkach, guests will discover the gayest beer parlour in town, learn about the pioneers of the LGBTQ2+ community, and more.

Vancouver Art Gallery – Free First Friday Nights

What: The Vancouver Art Gallery was founded in 1931 and is renowned as one of North America’s leading visual arts institutions. The largest public art museum in Western Canada features a variety of exhibitions, along with a Gallery Store for shopping and the 1931 Gallery Bistro for delicious food and drinks.

Evo Summer Cinema Series at Stanley Park
What: Hundreds of people will gather every Tuesday from July 8 to Aug. 26 for Canada’s largest outdoor movie series. You can watch a curated lineup of Hollywood hits and family favourites on the giant 40-foot inflatable movie screen.
