What: Dine Out Vancouver is back for its 16th year, bringing with it a crowded calendar of food events, with almost 300 restaurants participating in this year’s exciting event. The popular annual fest features hundreds of restaurants, each offering multi-course dinners at $20, $30 or $40 (plus tax, gratuity and beverages).

What: This one-day workshop explores how to draw some seasonal vegetables: squash, root veggies, winter greens, and more. Learn how to capture their natural beauty through fun exercises using live examples with different drawing techniques with pencil, pen and colour washes. Watercolour and brushes will be provided. Bring your own 11×14 multimedia sketchbook, and an HB or 2B pencil.

What: This free special launch event kicks off the third annual Branscombe House residency to welcome Richmond’s new 2018 artist-in-residence, Keely O’Brien. At the event, O’Brien will share examples from her career as a professional theatre artist and speak about some of the free community programs, activities and workshops she plans to offer this coming year.
