Metro Vancouverites woke up Sunday morning to several centimetres of snow on the ground.
There’s still a snowfall warning in effect, with Environment Canada calling for an additional five to 20 centimetres of snow in the region by Sunday night.
“In the wake of the low this afternoon, northeast outflow winds will collide with northwest winds from the Strait of Georgia. Where they meet, a localized band of heavy snow will develop and push through Metro Vancouver this evening,” Environment Canada’s warning said.
