What: Contact Winter Music Festival is returning to Vancouver, and some massive stars are coming for the party.
Canada’s largest indoor winter music festival is taking over the Pacific Coliseum on Friday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Dec. 27.
This year’s headliners include Grammy Award-nominated duo Slander and DJ of the Year winner Eric Prydz.

Elf in Concert
What: Elf, one of the most beloved Christmas films of all time, is celebrating a milestone birthday this holiday season in Vancouver. The Will Ferrell comedy classic is getting the live concert treatment at the Orpheum Theatre.
Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will bring John Debney’s heartwarming score to life while the film is projected onto a massive 40-foot movie screen.

Petunia and the Vipers

CP Holiday Train

What: The CPKC Holiday Train rolls back into B.C. this December, bringing lights, holiday cheer, and one of Canada’s favourite music acts to a bunch of communities across the province and Metro Vancouver.
The 27th edition of the beloved holiday tradition will travel across Canada and the U.S. this season to raise money, food, and awareness for local food banks. Attendees at each CPKC Holiday Train stop in B.C. will also enjoy a free and festive concert by eight-time Juno winners, the Barenaked Ladies.

Grant Lawrence & Friends: A Very Vancouver Christmas
What: Award-winning local author and broadcaster Grant Lawrence is throwing a holiday party at Hollywood Theatre. The all-star lineup for the all-ages show includes Jill Barber, Torquil Campbell (Stars), Dan Moxon (Bend Sinister), Charlie Demers, Ayla Tesler-Mabe and Aaron Chapman.

Xmas in Skaville 22
What: Xmas in Skaville is bringing high-energy holiday cheer to the Wise Hall in December. The lineup for the 22nd edition includes Balkan Shmalkan, Brehdren, Brasser, The Wavebirds, and Bobbi-Jo Moore & The Elixxxirs. The show promises to heat up the cold winter’s night, so make sure to bring your dancing shoes.

Funk the Halls featuring The Funk Hunters
What: Canadian electronic duo The Funk Hunters are bringing their holiday extravaganza back to their home base of Vancouver.
Multi-dimensional artists Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith will be taking to the stage at the Commodore Ballroom for two of the biggest parties of the season with Funk the Halls.

Christmas with Chor Leoni

Chor Leoni
What: Chor Leoni is getting festive with its annual Christmas show. The holiday tradition is filled with folk music favourites, ancient chants and modern classics. The program is set to include traditional songs in bright new arrangements. There will also be world premieres and musical guests during the performances.

John Legend
What: Thirteen-time Grammy winner John Legend brings the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour to Rogers Arena on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
John Legend is an EGOT winner with multiple Grammys, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Tony, and three Emmys under his belt. Fans will also recognize him as The Voice‘s senior coach on the hit reality singing competition.
The Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour will showcase the entirety of the double-platinum album Get Lifted, which won him legions of fans with hits like “Ordinary People,” “Used to Love U,” and “Number One.”

The Jinkx & Dela Holiday Show
What: Drag Queens BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon from RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars bring their newest holiday show to Vancouver.
Fans can expect a fabulous spectacle in the show co-written and co-created by the duo and directed by BenDeLaCreme, with whip-smart comedy, brand-new songs, and annual favourites.
