Help Wanted Improv with Hocus Focus

What: Hocus Focus presents Help Wanted, a comedy show inspired by real-life job postings, shared work experiences, and audience suggestions. The performers will also create an improvised mockumentary live at Cafe Deux Soleils.

When: January 7, February 4, March 3, 2020

Guilty Feminist Podcast

What: The Guilty Feminist, an award-winning podcast hosted by Deborah Frances-White, is bringing its live show to Vancouver. The podcast explores 21st century feminism — and all the insecurities, hypocrisies, and fears that come with it. The Guilty Feminist has been downloaded more than 60 million times since 2016. It was nominated for Best Comedy Podcast at the British Podcast Awards earlier this year. And for the first time ever, The Guilty Feminist tour is coming to North America.

Mariana Mazza

What: Quebec comedian Mariana Mazza brings her one-women show to Vancouver. She has won the Olivier of the Yearaward at the Gala les Olivier and a Félix award for Best Comedy Show of the Year. She also appeared in Bon Cop, Bad Cop 2 and De père en flic 2. Mariana will also be holding an informal discussion with the audience after the show.
