Raise your voice and join the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival's Big Sing
It’s time to raise your voice and sing into spring.
This April, the 2019 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival is looking to bring Metro Vancouver together in full harmony.
They’re inviting choirs, individuals, and music lovers alike to join their free choral event — The Big Sing.
A large group of singers will be conducted by Kathryn Nicholson, bringing to liveĀ songs like Cherry Blossoms for You & Me, O Siem, Here Comes The Sun, and Now I Walk in Beauty.
Rehearsals will take place across the month of AprilĀ in Coquitlam, Vancouver, Surrey, and North Vancouver, leading up to a mass performance at the south plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery on Saturday, April 2019.
Last year’s event included over 350 voices from 30 choirs across Metro Vancouver Communities.
All participants will also be given a Big Sing shirt to commemorate the event, in cherry blossom pink and white.
The event is open to all participant’s regardless of musical background or skill level.
