A new fruit beer festival coming to the Fraser Valley this August

A brand new festival focused on ” juicy beers and encouraging craft partnerships” is coming to the Fraser Valley this summer.

Known as the Fraser Valley Fruit Beer Festival, the event takes place on August 24, in Abbotsford, and is being put on by West Craft, an independent craft beverage brand promotion consultation business.

Those who attend the event can expect to see fruited saisons, mixed-fermentation ales, pilsners, pale ales, milkshake beers, and many more different styles of beer made with local British Columbia produce, as well awesome products from other small breweries across Canada and the United States.

The festival will also feature live music, from artists Daniel Tait, Tiger Moon, Tourist Company, and The Wild Romantics. as well as food options from Banter Ice Cream, Big Day Barbecue, and Downlow Chicken Shack.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, as none will be sold at the door.

For those concerned about drinking and driving, the festival’s organizers are also offering a shuttle pick up and return option from both Lougheed Town Centre and King George SkyTrain stations.
