Vancouver’s cat cafe is celebrating a milestone today after announcing its 100th adoption.
YAY ELLIE-MAY! Adoption #100! Moments later she bit the ribbon on the last 0 and sent it floating to the ceiling. pic.twitter.com/xafXQvfspm

Opened just 5 months ago in Vancouver’s International Village Mall, Catfé is part cafe, part foster home for adoptable rescue cats from the BC SPCA. [am2_see_also] “We are so grateful to the BC SPCA for their role in helping us reach this milestone, providing mentorship and trusting us with all their wonderful kitties,” a message on the cafe’s Facebook page reads. The lucky kitty in question is Ellie-May, who marked her adoption by chewing through the ribbon of one of her celebratory balloons.
