Vancouver Canucks star defenceman Quinn Hughes is starring in a new ad with his brother, Jack.

The two brothers recently did a new advertisement with one of their sponsor partners, DripDrop. It marks at least the second advertisement the electrolyte supplement brand has done with the Hughes brothers, as Jack also shared a post which featured himself and Quinn promoting DripDrop back in July.

The latest advertisement shows both Hughes brothers in on and off-ice training, along with some other fun sports-related activities, including darts and ping pong.

“Over 90 per cent of top pro and college teams are using one proven formula for faster hydration. DripDrop,” the brothers say in unison. “Doctor-developed, fast hydration that tastes great and is formulated so your body absorbs it fast when it really matters, for epic brother battles and supercharged sibling rivalries.”

Quinn, Jack, and to a lesser extent, Luke, have been talked about plenty in the hockey world, and particularly in Vancouver, this year. It all stems from the brothers admitting they would all like to play together someday, something that Jim Rutherford, the Canucks president of hockey operations, drew plenty of attention to.

ā€œHe’s said before that he wants to play with his brothers,” Rutherford said back in April. “That would be partly out of our control [or] in our control if we brought his brothers here. So there’s many moving parts here.ā€

Jack recently reignited that speculation last week, telling Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic that he would love to play with his oldest brother at some point, though Quinn seemingly downplayed that the very next day.

ā€œI mean, he’s my brother,ā€ Quinn said. ā€œWhat’s he supposed to say, first of all? Like, ā€˜I don’t want to play with him,’ you know?

Jack currently serves as an assistant captain for the New Jersey Devils, a team that also happens to have Luke on their blueline.

While it remains to be seen whether or not the brothers could all unite on one team, it is worth noting that Quinn has just two seasons remaining on his current deal with the Canucks, after which he would be a free agent should an extension not be worked out.
