Vancouver Buildings: Salt Building

Dec 19 2017, 11:56 am

The Salt Building was originally built sometime around 1930 to refine raw salt. Later on it was converted in to  a paper recycling plant, recently the building had sat empty. The building is owned by the City of Vancouver and following the Olympics it will be the social focal point of the new Olympic Village (SEFC) neighbourhood. It is now pretty much fully restored and eventually will be home to a brew pub, bakery, coffee shop (this is Vancouver after all) and a restaurant.  To see more photos of the Salt Building continue below.
