Now, Vancouver is getting some international recognition for its springtime beauty. It has been named one of the best spring vacation destinations in the world.
US News & World Report ranked Vancouver as the ninth best place to take a spring vacation.
“From Stanley Park to Grouse Mountain, Vancouver’s natural attractions are its biggest draws during spring,” said US News on its website.
“Plus, travelers can participate in events like the International Dance Festival and the Vancouver International Children’s Festival. Also a great time to secure deals on hotels.”
When the weather warms up, Vancouver comes alive with plenty of events. From the Cherry Blossom Festival, to music festivals and so many outdoor activities, springtime in the city is buzzing with excitement.
US News based the ranking on traveler votes and editorial analysis.
Vancouver was not the only Canadian city to make the list. Montreal, QC, came in third, and was recognized by US News for its stunning architecture and numerous festivals.
