Kent Street Apparel is Vancouver’s newest menswear shop, bringing charming and inspiring items geared towards men, and people who self-identify as men, who want to look and feel like a modern gentleman.

Kent Street Apparel’s distressed leather satchels — all named after streets in Vancouver — are packed with character and will make an impact at work, meetings and coffee shops. They are also perfect holiday gift ideas for a gentleman you love.

Founded by Mount Pleasant resident Glyn Lewis, Kent Street Apparel is a Vancouver-based online shop that carefully curates items that are classic, timeless and forward thinking.

“Our style and our brand is very much inspired by the cool, classic, playful, and hip aesthetics of the 1950s and ’60s, embodied so well by the likes of JFK, Pierre Elliot Trudeau, the Rat Pack, Cary Grant and James Dean,” said Lewis. “While we fully embrace this timeless and sophisticated style, we also seek to reinforce modern and forward looking values, such as equality and bike culture.”

“In the end, it’s about love and respect and making a positive difference. I feel really good about what we’ve created. I hope people find something that inspires them.”

Keeping with the theme of “inspired items” their cheeky and charming “Merde Il Pleut” (s— it’s raining) umbrellas will add life and warmth to a rainy day.
