Dec 12 2020, 1:22 am

The Vancouver Aquarium is bringing back its festive Scuba Claus character for a virtual Christmas show this month raising money for the marine research and rescue organization.

The aquarium is working with BCIT students to produce a show that follows Scuba Claus around the aquarium looking for the lost key to his toy cupboard.

Viewers watching will get to see many of the centre’s animals, including penguins, sea lions, and sea otters.

The online show premieres on Sunday, December 20 at 11 am, and tickets cost $9.99 per household.

Those who watch the premiere will also see a live chat with aquarium staff and have the opportunity to win items from the aquarium’s gift shop.

The Vancouver Aquarium remains temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
