“Any customers who may have visited the store between June 20 to July 6 can call 811 for health guidance and information,” said a 7-Eleven spokesperson in a statement to Daily Hive.
“We plan to re-open the store on or before July 13, 2020, in consultation with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.”
The company says they have “enhanced standards and procedures for hygiene, hand-washing, sanitation, food handling and preparation in stores” and have increased the frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces.
Sneeze guards have been installed at sales counters along with visual floor markers in checkout lines and limited customer traffic to reinforce physical distancing.
