We have been waiting for what feels like centuries for beloved Japanese-dessert chain Uncle Tetsu to open its first BC location in Metropolis at Metrotown, and they’ve FINALLY announced the opening date.

A member of the Tetsu team told Daily Hive the highly-anticipated eatery will be opening May 18.
All we can say is praise the cheesecake gods because we can’t wait to get our hands on this spot’s signature fluffy, and Tetsu-stamped Japanese Cheesecake.
The new shop will be located right next to the MUJI store in the Hudson’s Bay wing of the mall.
