There's a 5-pound burrito challenge launching in Metro Vancouver

Holy guacamole, this is one food challenge you need to be prepared for.
If you’ve conquered 10 pounds of poké or Metro Vancouver’s largest bowl of Taiwanese Beef Noodle, we have a new challenge for you.
Taco Del Mar in Port Coquitlam is about to launch their colossal 5-pound burrito challenge for its tenth annual run.
The 5-Pounder Burrito Eating Challenge asks participants to consume the taco chain’s famous 5-pound burrito in 30 minutes or less, and if they succeed it’s free.

This five‐pound burrito is rolled with four tortillas and stuffed with rice, beans, ground beef (no subs), cheese, pico de gallo, and sauce. It’s over four times the size of a regular Baja Burrito form this spot (which is pretty large in our opinions).
This challenge is happening for one day only – Friday, May 5 (Cinco de Mayo) from 11 am to 5 pm.
If you fail, the burrito costs $30 – good luck daring foodies!
