Two dead in North Vancouver after taking contaminated drugs

Dec 20 2017, 12:23 am

Two people were found dead in usually quiet North Vancouver on Monday, July 20 after apparently inhaling a lethal dose of contaminated narcotics, according to RCMP.

Police are now issuing a warning to the public that contaminated drugs are possibly on the market.

While it has not yet been determined what exactly was in the drugs, it appears the two people died suddenly, making police worried that the drugs were laced with a deadly substance. North Vancouver RCMP are now working on testing the narcotics to discern their makeup.

None of the victims have been publicly named and no information is available about their identity.
