A water-skiing squirrel is coming to the Vancouver International Boat Show

This February, a water-famous squirrel will be making an appearance in Vancouver.
And no, we haven’t gone nuts.
Twiggy, a famous, water-skiing squirrel, will be one of the highlights of the Vancouver International Boat Show. The event, entering its 58th year, takes place from Wednesday, February 5 to Sunday, February 9, 2019.

According to organizers, Twiggy will be performing on a daily basis during the event, while viewers also learn about water safety, waterskiing, and simply watch a water-skiing squirrel ski around her pool.

The show will also include more than 250 exhibitors and over 125 presentations and workshops led by boating experts.
This year’s event is taking place at two locations: BC Place and a floating show at Granville Island. Complimentary shuttle buses and water ferries will also be operating between the two venues.
Specific program details will be announced as they are finalized and the event draws closer.

BC Place: Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm; Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm
The Floating Show at Granville Island: Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm
Where:Â Indoors at BC Place (777 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver) and a floating show at Granville Island
