T&T Supermarket reports that a second employee tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19 at its Surrey location.
On November 11, the company released information that a staff member working at its #3000 10153 King George Boulevard location in Surrey had a presumptive positive result, and this individual last worked on November 7.
This is the second time the same location has reported a presumptive case in a span of a few days, with the first reported on November 8.
On its website, T&T outlines what it does when an employee comes back with a positive test.
“In the event we do have a confirmed case, the store undergoes a deep cleaning within 24 hours,” reads the site.
The supermarket also says staff who have been in close contact are required to self-isolate and are asked to be tested for the virus before returning to work.
