TRUE NORTH: The biggest and best New Year's Eve indoor party in Vancouver
Accompanying this year’s Coal Harbour fireworks spectacular at Concord’s New Year’s Eve Vancouver will be TRUE NORTH, which promises to be the biggest and best indoor NYE party in Vancouver.

TRUE NORTH will be held inside the Vancouver Convention Centre’s beautiful West Ballrooms, the largest waterfront ballrooms in Canada. The event provides revellers with the opportunity to watch the 9 pm Early Eve Fireworks and Midnight Countdown Fireworks, launched from a barge in Coal Harbour, from a comfortable indoor setting through the three-storey-tall floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the convention centre or from the outdoor Pacific Terrace plaza, the location of the Digital Orca statue, overlooking Jack Poole Plaza.
While this party will be the only NYE party in the city providing a direct and close-up view of the fireworks, it will be much more than that.
Two ballrooms will be activated, with one boasting a concert stage headlined by The New Pornographers and the other ballroom turned into a dance party with DJs.

TRUE NORTH revellers will also have access to complimentary snacks, indoor washrooms, full cash bar, and food available for purchase.
A premium VIP experience provides attendees with free coat check, access to a VIP Lounge (separate from the ballrooms) with premium cash bar, premium snacks, complimentary champagne toast at midnight, a private VIP-only covered outdoor terrace, a VIP-only viewing area for the fireworks, and VIP-only washrooms with luxury amenities and attendants.
TRUE NORTH kicks off at at 8 pm and runs through the early morning hours of New Year’s Day, until 3 am. It is an official Concord’s New Year’s Eve Vancouver event organized by the Vancouver New Year’s Eve Celebration Society in partnership with BRANDLIVE, the producers of Squamish Valley Music Festival.
