Jan 24 2020, 2:58 pm

UPDATE: As of 7:09 am the issue has been resolved. TransLink says it will take some time for trains to return to normal spacing and frequency.

ORIGINAL STORY:

SkyTrain users should allow extra time on their Friday morning commute.

According to TransLink, a track issue is causing delays to Canada Line service.

Customers that are travelling towards Waterfront will be required to change trains at Marine Drive Station. Anyone travelling towards the YVR International Airport and Richmond-Brighouse will need to change trains at Oakridge to continue.

TransLink says that a bus bridge is currently being set up for customers moving from Marine Drive to Waterfront. Additional security and Transit Police are at the stations to ensure passenger safety and crowd control.

The Expo and Millennium Lines are unaffected and running normally.
