In need of some ideas for your next Vancouver staycation?

Tourism Vancouver has got you covered with its #VancouverComeBack campaign — an initiative to help the tourism industry by inspiring Vancouverites to safely explore their communities.

This campaign will be in line with the requirements of BCā€™s Restart Plan and is following the lead of provincial health officials. It will play an important role in allowing residents to support local businesses even more.Ā

ā€œ#VancouverComeBack is a celebration of the resilience of the city and region as citizens have navigated the coronavirus pandemic to flatten the curve,ā€ according to a press release. ā€œThe campaign aims to unite locals with the spirit of travel and encourages Metro Vancouverites to come back to experiences and businesses that make the destination special.ā€

Tourism Vancouver has started listing hotels, attractions, restaurants, and other related businesses that have reopened on itsĀ website.

ā€œWe know things are still in the early stages right now, but we hope that more and more businesses will be able to welcome residents soon and be able to offer special deals,ā€ Sabrina Tey, communications manager of Tourism Vancouver,Ā said to Daily Hive.Ā
