More than 500 individuals may have been exposed to COVID-19 at a strip club in Toronto.

On Friday, Toronto Public Health (TPH) notified the public about a potential exposure at Brass Rail Tavern, a “premier gentlemen’s club” located in the city’s downtown core.

Health officials say that a staff member recently tested positive for coronavirus and was present at the club over a span of four days.

Anyone who attended is now being advised to self-monitor for symptoms over the next two weeks. Officials have also followed up with all known close contacts.

The announcement from TPH comes after coronavirus exposures were identified at two nightclubs in Vancouver earlier this week.

Vancouver Coastal Health detected exposure at Levels Nightclub on August 4 and 7, as well as the Trump Tower’s IVY Lounge on August 7.
