It was exactly one year ago that the Toronto Raptors won their first NBA championship in franchise history, beating the Golden State Warriors 114-110 in a thrilling Game 6 in Oakland.

June 13, 2019, was one heck of a party in Toronto — and not only at the city’s popular Jurassic Park.

Whether you were celebrating at home, in Jurassic Park, or maybe even in Oakland at the time, regardless of where you were, that night’s performance was historic and something that Raptors fans will remember forever.

At the time, a record 7.7 million Canadians tuned in to watch the Raps defeat the Warriors on TSN, CTV, and RDS, making it the most-watched NBA game in Canadian history. It was also the most-watched English-language television broadcast in three years.

So the anniversary calls for a walk down memory lane.

Here’s what celebrations looked like after the Raptors won the NBA Finals last year — one year ago to be exact — in Toronto…
