Top Rope Birria and DL Chicken to drop Quesa-Hot Chicken Tacos

DL Chicken Shack has been on a serious roll when it comes to fire collabs, and the much-loved hot chicken joint just announced a super exciting one launching next week with none other than Top Rope Birria.

If you’re not familiar with Top Rope, then prepare your stomach for amazingness.

This food truck has been popping up at breweries in and around Vancouver offering its incredible birria-style tacos. It’s safe to say they are now a must-try local bucket list item.

So what have these two purveyors cooked up for us? Let’s get into it.

It’s called the Quesa-Hot Chicken Taco, and it’s going to be available at The American (926 Main Street) for takeout or, weather-permitting, on the patio.

Made with Top Rope Birria’s tortilla and Mexican cheese blend with a DL Hot Chicken tender, pickled red onions, and cilantro, this morsel will be served with a side of smoked chicken ‘consommé’ for dipping.

As always, a cheese skirt can be added for an additional price. We highly recommend going for it.

Top Rope’s QuesaBirria will be on the menu at The American as well if you’re aiming to try the original version.

Starting Tuesday, April 13, at noon folks can pick up their preordered six-packs or head in to order these creations on a first-come, first-serve basis.
