How to buy tickets to see Messi hopefully play Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place

Lionel Messi will finally be facing off against the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place, as long as he decides to show up.

The Whitecaps pulled off a series of incredible results to make the CONCACAF Champions Cup semi-finals against Messi and Inter Miami CF.

The first of two legs is scheduled at BC Place on April 24.Ā Messi famously didn’t travel to Vancouver the last time he was scheduled to visit, and fans anxiously await his decision this time around.

This is a much more important game than the regular season MLS match he skipped last year, but Miami also plays Dallas just two days later (although it may be rescheduled) back in Florida.

While Messi’s status remains unknown, the Whitecaps have started selling tickets to the big game. Season ticket members, partial plan members, and those looking to buy group blocks were given access to a special presale that started at noon today.

The general public will get access to tickets tomorrow, Friday, April 11, at noon. Those will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster and start at $47.

For those who aren’t season ticket holders but still want to beat the general public to the sale, the Whitecaps are offering multi-game packages, which make that possible.

If you buy tickets to another game later this year, you can also get early access to single-game tickets for the CONCACAF Cup game against Miami and Messi. The two-game packages start at $77.

The first option is the Champions Pack, which requires buying a ticket to a future match against either LAFC, the Seattle Sounders, or FC Dallas. You’ll then be given the privilege to access single-game tickets for the Miami match early.

The Premium Match Pack requires purchasing a ticket to any other future MLS game on the endline, sideline, or in the corner. That’ll then also allow you to buy a single game ticket for the Messi Matchup.

The second leg of this big matchup will take place in Miami on Wednesday, April 30.

The Whitecaps and Miami are two of the best teams in MLS this season, and their matchup in this tournament will come with a trip to the final on the line. Strong Mexican sides Cruz Azul and Tigres UNAL wait on the other side of the bracket, with the champion of the entire tournament going to the 2025 FIFA Intercontinental Cup and 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
