This outdoor Vancouver Pride party has inflatable toys and two dance floors

Vancouver’s most colourful summer event is almost here – Pride Week.

And that means there’s plenty of celebrating to be done.

You’ll easily find a wide range of events happening across the city for Pride but there’s one in particular that you need to check out. And that’s CHICAS in the Afternoon.

This one-of-a-kind Pride garden party is taking place at the Sheraton Wall Centre on Burrard Street on August 6.

Here, you’ll feel nightclub vibes during the day coupled with pillows, inflatable playthings, picnic blankets, plus lawn games. Oh, there will also be pole dancers performing on the day since this event is the epitome of civilized debauchery.
