Japandroids with Craig Finn & the Uptown Controllers

  • What: After three years out of the spotlight, Japandroids returned with their latest album, Near To The Wild Heart Of Life, in January. Brian King (guitar) and David Prowse (drums) share singing duties, which they recently showcased on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Enjoy $2.99 movies at participating Cineplex theatres

  • What: Cineplex is giving you the perfect activity to keep your family occupied while school’s out. Across Canada, participating theatres will host matinee screenings of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Storks, The Secret Life of Pets and Trolls for only $2.99 per ticket.

Spring Equinox Yoga at Grouse Mountain

  • What: With spring just around the corner, YYoga and Grouse Mountain are hosting a spring equinox event at hiwus Feasthouse on the mountain. The yoga practice will be led by YYoga instructor Meltem Oner to celebrate the March equinox, and the event is complimentary with the purchase of a Grouse Mountain pass. All skill levels are welcomed and mats will be provided.

Vegan Wing Night at What’s Up? HotDog!

  • What: The first vegan wings-only dedicated night in Vancouver – even the ranch dip is vegan. “Fricken” Wings – lightly battered, deep-fried cauliflower pieces – are tossed in What’s Up? HotDog!’s signature wing sauces which include a choice of hot, BBQ, spicy peanut, lemon pepper, and salt and pepper, along with vegan ranch, Sriracha mayo, and wasabi mayo for dips.

Vancouver Fashion Week

  • What: Vancouver Fashion Week is the second biggest fashion week in North America and longest running in Canada. The 29th season features talented local and international designers for a week of fun, fashion and festivities.

Learn with Magic

  • What: Enjoy a magic show, then learn to perform your own magic tricks in a hands-on workshop. For children ages 6+, registration required.

Pint + Paint at Faculty Brewing
