What’s Up? HotDog! may be known for their killer dogs, but this spot recently launched something completely unexpected – a vegan wing night.

That’s right, every Monday from 6 pm until they close at midnight, What’s Up? HotDog! will be serving “Fricken” Wings – lightly battered, deep-fried cauliflower pieces.

You may have had veggie wings like this at other places before, but this is the first vegan wings-only dedicated night in Vancouver – even the ranch dip is vegan!

The vegan wings are tossed in What’s Up? HotDog!’s signature wing sauces which include a choice of hot, BBQ, spicy peanut, lemon pepper, and salt and pepper, along with vegan ranch, Sriracha mayo, and wasabi mayo for dips.

Vegetarians hitting up What’s Up! on Monday evenings can opt for additional dips which include Mongolian, honey hot, and honey garlic on top of the other selections, as well as a housemade blue cheese dip.

The 12-piece baskets of Fricken Wings are only $5 a pop, so we’re pretty sure the meatless morsels will be a huge hit for the Monday night crowd and they’ll be eaten faster than you can say Matt and She’s Dog.
