The Weeknd announced as new face of H&M

The Weeknd is one busy Torontonian.

With an album release on the horizon, and just a day after announcing his 2017 world tour, the R&B artist announced today that he will be starring in H&M’s spring menswear line.

The Weeknd, or Abel Tesfaye, is teaming up with the Swedish fashion brand on the collection “Spring Icons Selected by The Weeknd,” which is due to arrive in stores worldwide on March 2, 2017.

Although no further details have been released at this time, its safe to say you’ll be able to wear The Weeknd line to The Weeknd concerts — which starts in Vancouver on April 25.

The H&M partnership will not be the first major brand collaboration for Tesfaye. Four weeks ago, The Weeknd posted a photo announcing a partnership with Puma, and the release of his PumaXO show and clothing line in 2017.

While all this fashion news is great, all eyes (and ears) are on The Weekend’s music, as his fourth studio album Starboy finally comes out on November 25.
