New fried soul food "The Roost" to open in Vancouver July 11

If you’re into epic-sounding fried chicken, we’ve got some news you’ll likely wanna hear.

A new deep-South-inspired joint in opening in Vancouver. Located in the heart of English Bay on Denman Street, The Roost is slated to celebrate its grand opening weekend on July 11 and 12.

The eatery will offer patrons fried soul food like chicken and meat sandwiches along with vegan snacks and gluten-free options that can be eaten in-restaurant or easily taken to go.

Centro used to operate at this address, but it looks like owners decided to switch up their concept from Italian to Southern-style eats.
