Following the news of their new album, I am Easy to Find, The National has announced that they’ll be embarking on a world tour — and Vancouver will be one of their destinations.
The Grammy-Award winning group will take off in June, with several stops across the United States.
In addition to Vancouver, the North American leg of their tour includes stops in Montreal, QC, and Hamilton, ON.
The American rock band is best known for their fourth and fifth albums, Boxer and High Violet. In 2017, the band also released the album Sleep Well Beast, which won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.
They’ll be performing at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, with Alvvays as special guests.
The show is general admission and is open to all ages, with tickets available for $65 (incl. GST).
Tickets are on sale starting Friday, March 8 at 10 am and can be purchased online.
