"Canada's first crochet cafe" is opening in Greater Vancouver — here's what we know
Grab your crochet needles and balls of yarn, Greater Vancouver, because a new cafe is making its way to Abbotsford, and it claims to be the first crochet cafe in Canada.
Located at 33723 Essendene Ave., Abbotsford, The Knotty Brew was born from a simple idea: mix the comfort of a good cup of coffee with the creativity of handmade craft.
“Our cafe is cozy and colourful, filled with crochet touches, handmade treasures, and little details meant to spark joy. It’s a place to slow down, catch up with friends, or try something new,” shared the cafe on its website.

Alongside serving specialty drinks, guests can also expect to enjoy hands-on workshops for all levels, even if you’re just picking up a crochet hook for the first time.
Plus, it will feature a boutique space where you can buy unique, handmade items from local makers.
“Come for your morning latte, learn a new skill, or simply soak up the atmosphere. The Knotty Brew is a place to belong,” added the cafe.
An exact opening date for the cafe has yet to be announced, but it promises to open its doors soon.
