Australia’s jazz ska heavyweights The Cat Empire will play two shows at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom Tuesday, August 2 and Wednesday, August 3.

Forming in 1999, The Cat Empire is a sprawling band with myriad influences, and a shifting membership. Playing sold out shows around the world, and with seven studio albums including 2016’s “Rising with the Sun,” The Cat Empire have a sound unlike any other.
