Vancouver's new spot for European pastries and chocolate is open
It’s been well over a year since news of The Belgian Chocolate Café opening was first revealed, and now the 38 Smithe Street sweet spot is FINALLY open.
The new 1,076 sq. ft. shop is located right across from PARQ Vancouver.

In Spring 2018, owners told Daily Hive that patrons could expect “sophisticated ambient interiors ingrained with a rich European feel.”
Folks can now head to the shop and enjoy Belgian chocolate and European pastries.

The menu will showcase premium freshly baked pastries, breakfast options, Belgium baguettes, and waffles, along with signature chocolate desserts, tarts, and slices.
Seasonal specials like soups, ice cream, and sorbets are also in the works for this spot.
For drinks, expect 100% Arabica coffee blend, world-class hot chocolates, fruit smoothies, and decadent chocolate shakes.
